Gamalier Bravo

Gamalier Bravo is a Puerto Rican artist and illustrator specializing in oil painting. He holds a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts Education from the prestigious Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico in Old San Juan.

Bravo began his artistic journey under the mentorship of Guinness Record-holding caricaturist Gary Javier, mastering anatomy and color theory. He further refined his craft at the School of Fine Arts in Arecibo and through continuing education in landscape design at the University of Puerto Rico.

Since 1996, Bravo has exhibited actively in galleries and venues across the region. Alongside his partner Aidamaris Román, he co-founded the creative studio Forgotten Hearts LLC, a multidisciplinary practice spanning sculpture, photography, and design. His paintings are characterized by a unique blend of realism and fantasy, defined by spontaneous brushwork and vibrant color.
